why is the feet one of the most targeted by diabetes?

  • meandmyhealthdotcom

With poor blood sugar control many organs in the body including the eyes, the kidneys, the heart and the brain can be damaged. Foot damage is just more obvious as it is external and can be seen.

Thank You so much for this video. I have just been diagnosed with mild neuropothy. I am a 55 year old male with type 2 diabetes. This disease is no joke. Thanks again.

  • meandmyhealthdotcom

    Dear Kingman54.
Neuropathy in diabetes is associated with many other issues relating to A1C, eye damage due to diabetes, kidney involvement etc. Even though many of them can not be reversed, most of these conditions can be stopped from getting worse. That is very important. Check all that and live a healthy life.

Excellent Video ! thank you for making it.

Diabetes is a horrible disease and is probably going to be a major new health concern for our children as they are very prone to getting type 2 Diabetes from both lack of excercise and poor diet. My best friend just died from Diabetes first they cut his big toe off, about a year later they cut his foot and lower leg off. About a year after that they cut his entire left leg off. Blindness set in and other health problems. I had no idea how bad this is
