Question by ladyhawk_9326: Where can I find free recipes for diabetic that are super easy to make and buy what is needed to make them?
I am needing some recipes that are for diabetic. I am on a very low fixed income so the ingredences needs to be cheap. I have more time than money. So I don’t care if it takes a while to make things. Plus I do love to cook. If you know of a free web site that I can do a whole menu for a month on that would be super. Or even a group that I could join as well to help me with this.

Looks like you have some great suggestions in your first answer. Another idea would be to go to your local library and look through some cook books. Take your pen and paper and write out your favorites. There are a lot of great cook books out there, so happy researching.
Try American Diabetes on-line and sign up.Heres my daughters favorite.Take a small carton of cottage cheese,cool-whip,drain& wash 1 can of crushed pineapples,1-small package of sugar free jello(any flavor you like)>mix all and put in the fridge.I do overnight.Stir before you serve.I use fat free& and non-dairy lite on my stuff for her.It is called a salad but we eat it as a dessert.I have used frozen fruit and instant sugar free vanilla pudding.Good either way.Hope this helps.Good luck with the diabetes…
